Starting off the month with a few fingerprints – we hope you will assist in filling these boards up with hundreds more. Universal Paints is proudly joining the fight against breast cancer this October with a “Cares” campaign aimed at raising awareness and supporting research. In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, each branch has created a unique space where both customers and staff can dip their fingers in pink paint and leave their mark as a symbol of solidarity and support. At the end of the month, each store will contribute a set amount to Project Flamingo, a non-profit organisation that provides timely treatment and compassionate care to cancer patients.
In a further show of commitment, Universal Paints CEO, Rhone Diab, has pledged to match the total donations from the branches, doubling the impact and helping patients receive the care and support they deserve, regardless of their circumstances. This collective effort not only reflects Universal Paints’ commitment to giving back to the community but also stands as a powerful reminder of the importance of early detection, research, and treatment in the battle against breast cancer. Together, Universal Paints and its customers are making a lasting difference, one pink fingerprint at a time.
