A Milestone Year: 40 Years of Universal Paints
2025 has been particularly special for us because Universal Paints turned 40 this year! Four decades of helping South Africans bring their visions to life with quality paints, expert advice, and innovative solutions is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of. It’s been amazing to see how trends have evolved over the years — from classic neutral walls to daring colour experiments — and we’ve loved being there with you every step of the way. Celebrating this milestone reminded us of the many homes, offices, schools, and community spaces that we’ve helped brighten, and we’re excited for the next 40 years of colour!
Connecting With Our Community
This year, we also had the joy of meeting so many of you in person at a variety of events, where we could share our passion for paint and learn more about yours.
Homemakers Fair: The Homemakers Fair gave us the opportunity to connect with DIY enthusiasts, homeowners, and interior design lovers. We offered guidance on choosing the right paint for different projects, and our team shared tips on techniques, finishes, and colour combinations. It was wonderful to see how enthusiastic people were about making their homes unique, and to feel their excitement when they discovered the perfect shade.
Decorex 2025: Decorex was a vibrant celebration of design and creativity, and we were thrilled to be part of it. Our stand was filled with colour inspiration, from on-trend palettes to expert tips for mixing and matching. Seeing visitors experiment with colours, ask questions, and walk away with ideas for their own homes was a highlight of the year.
