At Universal Paints, community lies at the heart of everything we do. Through our Universal Cares programme, our teams across the country step up in meaningful ways to support organisations that make a real difference. Recently, our Linden store had the privilege of partnering with a remarkable NPO—Chic Mamas Do Care Jozi—to help uplift both their spaces and the communities they serve.
About Chic Mamas Do Care
Chic Mamas Do Care is an organisation dedicated to supporting Early Childhood Development (ECD) initiatives across South Africa. By running beautifully curated charity shops, they raise funds to provide essential support, resources, and opportunities to young children in under-resourced communities. When the Linden branch of Chic Mamas set out to refresh and renovate their store, Universal Paints Linden was honoured to assist.
Universal Paints Linden’s Contribution
As part of this project, the Linden team made a generous donation of floor paint to help refurbish two of the organisation’s spaces:
- The Love It Again Shop, and
- The Chic Mamas Linden Store, which was in need of a fresh, durable new floor surface.
The transformation of these spaces played an important role in creating a welcoming, functional environment for customers and volunteers alike—ultimately helping Chic Mamas Do Care continue raising funds that directly impact children’s lives.
